Installation of a Worcester Bosch Greenstar LPG boiler to the exterior of a property in the Vale of Glamorgan.
This client got in touch with us as he was concerned about the poor performance of his existing boiler.
During the free survey we carried out, we identified a number of safety concerns with the current boiler and heating system at the property. The first of these was that the boiler was producing a large amount of soot due to incomplete combustion. We also noted during the survey that the clients paving slabs were saturated in heating oil. In addition to this, the position of the LPG bottles being adjacent to the old boiler posed a safety threat.

The client had been quoted a substantial sum of money to have the boiler repaired. Whilst the repair of the boiler was an option, we informed the client that this would be costly. After listening to our advice, the client decided to go for a new boiler installation.
Installed in one day, we provided the client with a new Worcester Bosch Greenstar condensing boiler installed to the exterior of the property. This incorporated a plume management kit and resulted in grade A efficiency with the lowest emissions possible. We also sited the LPG bottles to a new safe position.
The new Worcester Bosch boiler we installed offer over 90% efficiency, produces lower emissions, consumes lesser fuel and results in considerably reduced fuel bills.
As you will see from the included pictures, the emissions produced are cleaner and consist of water vapour (steam) resulting in a reduction of the client’s carbon footprint and cleaner walls for the future!
