Review of 2 Boilerhut installations…

I needed a new combi boiler to replace an old gravity-fed system. Boilerhut was recommended to me by my brothers father in law who had his boiler replaced by Boilerhut the previous year. I talked to Paul about the options and sent various photos, which enabled him to quote without a site visit. I had originally considered a Bosch boiler but was persuaded by Paul and the ‘Which’ best buy recommendation to have a Viessmann boiler installed instead. The price was very competitive, and I decided to go ahead.

The installation team (Andy and Gavin) were exceptional and completed the work in 2 days. The work was to a very high standard, and I am entirely satisfied with the end result. This installation was at a property that I intend to rent. Shortly after this, my old Alpha combi boiler at home developed a leak for the third time, so I decided to replace it with a modern Viessmann boiler.

I again used Boilerhut and again was impressed by the competitive price and the speed and quality of the installation. As this was a replacement combi boiler only 1 man (David) was needed and he finished it in 1 day including connecting the boiler to my existing Nest thermostat. This is now connected to the boiler by ‘Open Therm’ instead of the old on/off connection, thus improving the system’s control.

In summary I would recommend Boilerhut for all aspects of their service from the highly knowledgeable Paul who did the quotes and answered all my questions (as a retired engineer I asked a lot of them) to the installers who did such an excellent job at both properties.
