The Baxi 400 boiler range is a mid-tier and a relatively new addition to the UK boiler market. It is a lightweight and affordable boiler option. But, some customers may be put off by the number of plastic components it contains.
It is easy to install and service. It’s available in many heating outputs to accommodate most homes and features an in-built frost thermostat. The 400 range also has many flue lengths for different installation requirements.

It’s not the best or the worst boiler available. Baxi are known to make good boilers and this is their mid-range product with a middling 5-year warranty period.

The Baxi 400 range has an ErP ‘A’ rating and an energy efficiency running performance of 89%. There are more efficient boilers available than the Baxi 400 range. To ensure this efficiency, like all boilers, room thermostats are required.

Because they are manufactured in the UK, parts for the Baxi 400 are widely available at plants in Preston and Norwich. If you need a replacement item you can find spare parts at Screwfix, Plumbase and other plumbing merchants both in-store and online.
