Best LPG Boiler

Wherever you live in the UK, everyone would prefer a Mains Gas connection.  But in its absence, the best options you have are either best LPG boiler, oil boiler, electric storage heater or air source heat pump.

For most people living on the UK’s mains gas grid, the thought of anything other than mains gas for their boiler and central heating system may sound strange.  It may even sound too complicated.  However, there are actually around 4 million households up and down the country who are not currently connected to the UK’s mains gas supply.  Most of them either use an LPG boiler or an Oil Boiler.  If you are living off the mains gas grid, and are looking to replace your existing Oil or LPG boiler, you’ve come to the right place.

What is an LPG Boiler?

LPG is short for Liquefied Petroleum Gas, and  LPG boilers differ from ordinary gas boilers in that the LPG is delivered in trucks and stored in a special tank or cylinders, similar to heating oil for oil boilers.  Whilst LPG is stored as a liquid like oil, however during operation when it is being used, it is drawn in as a gas.  There are some boilers specially designed to work with LPG.  However, best gas boilers can become best LPG boilers with an LPG conversion kit.  Change of fuel source doesn’t have any effect on the boiler’s overall efficiency levels.  You can now get an online quote for the best LPG boiler within minutes.  Simply enter your postcode below and hit the green button:

How does an LPG Boiler heat your home?

This form of fuel and boiler system is generally used in a system that uses ‘wet heating’.  In this system the water is heated by an LPG-fired boiler and this heats the property through the hot water pipes and radiators, and gives you hot water through the taps.  The fuel doesn’t come through pipes from the gas grid, as is the case with Mains Gas.  But instead you store LPG in tanks outside your property, or in cylinders near your boiler.

So, if you’re used to Mains Gas all your life, this may look vastly different.  Some examples of how LPG is stored in off-grid homes below:

Benefits Of Using Best LPG Boilers

One of the biggest benefits of using best LPG boiler is the fact that liquid petroleum gas is a very efficient form of fuel.  This means that you will receive a very good return on investment for each and every energy unit.  However, a fact that is worth considering is that current condensing boilers use better designed hot-flue gases, which used to go to waste in older, non condensing boilers.  This helps modern condensing boilers achieve energy efficiency of 92% and above and even 98% for models like the Viessmann Vitodens 200-W.

You can replace a an older non-condensing LPG-fired boiler with a more efficient brand new condensing LPG boiler very easily.  What’s more, like we have mentioned above, best LPG boilers don’t actually need to be specially made LPG boilers.  All gas boilers can be converted to LPG using an LPG conversion kit.  So, when we’re talking about the best LPG boiler, our list doesn’t really differ much from our which boiler is best list.
