How long does it take to install a new boiler?

When it comes to installing a new boiler, the duration of the process usually varies from 1-3 days. The type of boiler you choose to install plays a significant role in determining the time required for the installation process. If you plan on installing a similar boiler to the old one, then it will be a simpler and quicker installation process than if you opt for a different type of boiler, such as switching from a conventional boiler to a combi boiler.

If you intend to change the location of the boiler, it will take longer to install your new boiler than keeping the same type. What happens during the installation of a new boiler?

When you schedule a boiler installation, the engineer assigned to the task will first drain down your central heating and hot water system. They will then disconnect and remove your old boiler.

In order to eliminate any impurities in the pipework, they will also clear out your heating system. After this, they will proceed with the installation of your replacement boiler. Once the installation is complete, the engineer will give you a detailed overview of your new boiler. This will include system controls and guide you on how to operate them effectively.
