Founded in 1978 as Grant Engineering in County Offaly, Ireland, Grant has been offering oil boilers to the UK market since 1996 from its UK head office in Wiltshire.

Offering market-leading products, Grant was a pioneer in condensing technology and introduced the Vortex condensing range of oil boilers to the UK market in 2002, years before condensing boilers was made mandatory by law.

Today, Grant offers two award-winning ranges of oil boilers, Vortex and VortexBlue. Both of these ranges comprise oil-fired condensing boilers that are available in internal, external, combi, boiler house, and wall-hung models.

The Vortex boiler range uses a burner that produces a yellow flame, whilst the VortexBlue boiler uses a blue flame burner that is designed to re-circulate the combustion gases to emit lower NOx emissions.

All of the oil boilers offered by Grant are endorsed by the Energy Saving Trust and are biofuel compatible.

Throughout its history, Grant has won numerous awards including Which? Best Buy awards for the Vortex, and VortexBlue oil boiler ranges in 2017, 2018 and 2019, Wolseley Conference’s Best Product Innovation for the VortexBlue range in 2016, Which? Best Buy Product for the Vortex Combi in 2008, and H&V News Domestic Product of the Year for the Vortex range in 2003.
