The Grant Vortex Eco is a high-performance and quiet boiler. It is great if you don’t have access to the gas network.
Unfortunately, Grant are moving away from Blue Flame technology. We’re not sure why. Blue Flame technology will allow bio-oils to be burned, reducing the usage of fossil fuels. They haven’t been released yet, however.
We no longer recommend Grant boilers when a Navien boiler is an option for your home.

Grant has won awards for its boilers. Designed and manufactured in the UK, they have a reputation for reliability and performance. They also have an excellent all-round reputation, including customer service. The Trustpilot page for Grant has a Great rating based on over 2.300 reviews (as of January 2024).

The Grant Vortex Eco oil boiler is available as a regular/conventional boiler. You can purchase a kit to convert it to a sealed system boiler. The right Vortex Eco model for you will depend on the current heating setup in your property.

The external models in this range feature high-quality powder-coated casing designed for all weather conditions. This makes them highly durable. They also include built-in frost protection, with a mains isolating switch and test switch.
